The sun is shining!  Reminding me that Christmas is all about the coming of the Light of the World, Son of God.

Because Covid various things have had to change - we're here, other family members are 'there' (insert several different locations, all not 'here'.)  We may yet have a Zoom Christmas Dinner, or at least a Family call, yay Tech!

It turns out that I didn't take enough off the bottom of the winter curtains for the front room.  I thought 5" sounded on the small side, but didn't want to make them too short.  H hung them yesterday afternoon.  Thnx H.  They're still a good foot or more too long.  As they've been too long in all the time we've had them, which is since D was still ( Read more... )

Last night we moved most of the rest of the stuff out of the middle bedroom.  Far too early (for me) this morning we moved the desk and filing cabinet, plus a few other bits, onto the landing and into our bedroom (fortunately I could go back to bed.)  The back bedroom floor is already full.  Aaaarrrggh ( Read more... )
